Camp noMAD is definitely the best camp that I have attended this year! I definitely learnt a lot on how to be a better leader! All thanks to Jeff our group leader. He taught us how to give great debriefs, remiinded us to always encourage one another and also to set an example for the next batch of YJ leaders when they are going to take over next year!

I feel mentally refreshed and more geared up to ‘chiong’ for promos! The best thing was that Group 1:MJ(michael jackson) had loads and loads of fun and laughter throughout the whole camp as we were crazily determined to make the best out of everything. I am in awe of how determined my groupmates can be when we really set our minds on accomplishing something. Like the challenge where we were supposed to find the A-Z shops.. we even ran out of town and circled the place many times just to make sure we got every shop down pat.

I am so glad that our efforts paid off when we were announced as the winning group, but of course, what I’ll remember is not the fact that we got first but all the excitement we had while completing the amazing race!

we even picked up like 9 bags of rubbish along the beach HAHA!

we danced to billy jean,

we picked up trash,

we sang cheesy love songs,

we cheered our hearts out,

we laughed till our cheeks ached,

we learnt so much more about each other and ourselves,

we persevered on through the race,

we made a difference to our own lives,

we are MJ.
